Vice President, Food Ingredients

About the role

The Vice President, Food Ingredients will lead the growth and profitability of the Food Ingredients business across North America and Europe. Reporting to the COO, this senior leader will own full P&L responsibility and drive strategic and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and full P&L ownership for the Food Ingredients business.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, improve margins and expand market presence.
• Lead sales and commercial activities, including pricing, contract negotiations and customer development.
• Oversee manufacturing, production planning, freight, logistics and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost optimization and throughput.
• Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to align demand, inventory, capacity and procurement.
• Build and mentor high‑performing teams across Sales, Operations, Production Planning, Logistics and Manufacturing.
• Represent the business to executive leadership, presenting performance, forecasts and strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree is an asset.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in food ingredients, food manufacturing, agri‑commodities or related industries.
• Proven track record of P&L ownership and delivering business growth.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.
