About the role
Mastercard is seeking a Vice President to lead its Financial Institutions Partnerships across Canada. The role drives enterprise sales strategy, builds long‑term relationships with key financial partners, and aligns regional efforts with global objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing sales team focused on strategic selling and relationship management.
- Define and execute account strategies, coach team members on plan development, and hold them accountable for results.
- Lead deal management and strategic selling to achieve revenue targets and deliver partner value.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional experts in Payments, Treasury, Digital Channels, Data & Analytics, Marketing, Fraud/Risk, and Finance.
- Assess financial and strategic scope of opportunities, prioritize business development, and shape customer success strategies.
Required profile
- Proven senior enterprise sales leadership experience, preferably in financial services or payments.
- Strong ability to develop deep customer insights and articulate Mastercard’s value proposition.
- Demonstrated track record of building and managing high‑performing teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, resilience, and ability to mobilize resources.
