Transaction Services Senior Associate - Financial Due Diligence

About the role

PwC's Transaction Services group in Deals advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring, supporting them through due diligence, financial analysis and the transaction process. This Senior Associate position sits in the Financial Due Diligence practice and works with both buy-side and sell-side clients, covering corporate and financial buyers and sellers. It follows the departure of a valued team member.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in meetings with top-level management to gather information for due diligence and help drive in-depth financial analysis of client and target data.
• Build a comprehensive understanding of target companies, including their industry and key business drivers.
• Analyze client and target financial data to identify deal issues and value drivers.
• Prepare transaction analyses such as quality of earnings, normalized net working capital and debt and debt-like items analysis.
• Use data analytics tools to process and present data efficiently.
• Focus on buy-side financial due diligence and vendor assistance / sell-side due diligence and carve-outs.

Required profile

• Solid audit experience at Senior Associate level.
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (or local equivalent) preferred.
• Proven technical and analytical capabilities, including financial and business performance analysis.
• Strong communication, presentation and report writing skills.
• Proven engagement team management and leadership skills.
