About the role
Square is expanding its field sales organization and is looking for a Territory Account Executive to drive growth in Toronto. You will be the face of Square in the market, helping local businesses adopt our integrated payments, software, and financial services solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Spend ~80% of the week in the field, conducting 50–60 targeted business visits each week.
- Generate leads, run full‑cycle self‑sourced sales motions, deliver live demos, and close deals across Square’s product suite.
- Build and maintain a pipeline from the ground up and increase Square’s visibility in the community.
- Establish yourself as the go‑to Square expert for local sellers and develop trust‑based relationships.
Required profile
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate strategically and decisively.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Willingness to spend the majority of time on‑site meeting prospects.
