Tennis Court Maintenance Assistant – Part‑Time

About the role

Donalda Club is seeking a reliable Tennis Court Maintenance Assistant to join its Racquets Department on a permanent, part‑time basis. The role supports the upkeep of twelve clay tennis courts and surrounding clubhouse grounds, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare courts daily – sweep, line, water, roll, level, top‑dress and scarify.
• Perform routine cleaning of courts, washrooms, chairs, tables and other court‑side items.
• Conduct safety checks for protruding nails, uneven lines and other hazards.
• Assist with setup and takedown of the tennis bubble and manage irrigation adjustments.
• Communicate court conditions to the racquets desk and restock towels, garbage bins and viewing areas.
• Maintain fitness and squash areas, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Seasonal duties – spring painting, windscreen installation, equipment inventory, irrigation testing, fall top‑dressing, and winter bubble preparation.

Required profile

• Prior experience maintaining clay tennis courts.
• Practical knowledge of court‑maintenance equipment and irrigation systems.
• Flexibility to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
