Temporary Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse – Medical Imaging

About the role

The Medical Imaging Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) joins a multidisciplinary team at WRHN Midtown, providing direct care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. This temporary part‑time position runs until October 2026 and supports both pre‑procedure preparation and post‑procedure recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, prepare, monitor, and assist patients of all ages before, during, and after complex radiological procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other health‑care professionals to ensure safe and efficient care delivery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with nursing standards.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate interventions.

Required profile

• Current Registration Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Registered Practical Nurse.
• Experience caring for adult and pediatric patients, including oncology and renal populations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑turnover clinical environment.
• Flexibility, reliability, good attendance, and strong organizational skills.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
