Temporary Full-Time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

About the role

At Extendicare, a leading provider of senior‑care services across Canada, you will join a collaborative RPN team delivering resident care in a supportive environment. This temporary full‑time position allows you to apply your nursing expertise while guiding personal care staff and ensuring care aligns with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, review and evaluate individualized resident care plans, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and reflect each resident’s unique needs.
• Provide leadership to personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising and evaluating their daily work, fostering teamwork and high‑quality care delivery.
• Assist in orienting and training new team members, sharing best practices and supporting their integration into the care team.

Required profile

• Current registration with the provincial College of Nurses, meeting all licensing requirements for an RPN.
• Demonstrated compassion, professionalism and respect, with strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
