About the role
Torus Talent is seeking a motivated Technical Recruiter to expand its construction management practice across Western Canada. The role combines a stable base salary with an uncapped commission structure, allowing you to earn based on successful placements while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand project needs and build trusted relationships.
- Source, screen, and qualify candidates for roles such as Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Project Coordinators, and Safety Professionals.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate engagement, interview preparation, negotiation, and placement.
- Leverage Torus Talent’s proprietary candidate database, LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, and other tools to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of recruitment or account‑management experience in construction, engineering, or technical sectors.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding placement targets.
