Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition

About the role

LawZero is seeking its first Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to partner with the VP of Talent and lead recruitment strategies as the organization scales. The role combines people leadership, process design, and hands‑on recruiting for high‑impact technical positions.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage, mentor and develop the Montreal talent acquisition team, using data and analytics to optimize workload and foster collaboration.
• Design and execute high‑velocity international sourcing strategies, overseeing relocation, immigration and global mobility for scientific talent.
• Lead employer‑branding initiatives and maintain a high‑touch candidate experience across all hiring stages.
• Perform full‑cycle recruiting for senior and specialized technical roles as needed.
• Build and standardize hiring processes, ATS workflows, interview frameworks and operational guidelines.
• Partner with Talent & Culture, Marketing & Communications and other functions to align recruitment with global objectives.
• Establish metrics, dashboards and market intelligence to guide strategic decisions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of technical talent acquisition experience, including 3+ years managing recruiters.
• Proven success in international hiring and scaling talent operations in high‑growth tech or R&D environments.
• Experience with immigration, visa and relocation processes.
• Strong data‑driven mindset and ability to build recruitment processes from scratch.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
