About the role

As a Team Lead at Activate’s Mississauga location, you will drive excitement on each shift, ensuring smooth store operations and an exceptional in‑store experience for guests. Reporting to the Store Leader, you will guide customers and coach Game Facilitators while handling escalations, technical issues, and room readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phones and emails, troubleshoot booking challenges, and secure reservations.
• Perform check‑in overrides, manage daily cash‑out sheets, create and receive invoices, and process payments.
• Resolve customer complaints, escalating to the Store Leader when necessary.
• Communicate facility status to team and customers, ensuring each room meets program standards.
• Train new employees, coach staff, and delegate tasks throughout the shift.
• Facilitate solution‑oriented processes for customer questions and issues.
• Maintain rooms by coordinating cleaning, painting, and repairs.
• Track and manage inventory for maintenance, merchandise, and vending products, communicating needs to the Store Leader.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a similar customer‑focused, operational role.
• Positive, problem‑solver mindset with the ability to lead by example.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to handle escalations, technical issues, and maintain a high level of service quality.
