About the role
The Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the Managerial Economics course (MGCR 293) for the Fall term. This fixed‑term position supports students through scheduled TA sessions, additional office hours before exams, and assistance with course‑related problem sets.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct periodic TA sessions with enrolled students.
- Provide extra office hours during the period leading up to final examinations.
- Help design, write, and solve course problems, requiring solid knowledge of microeconomics and Excel.
- Collaborate with the course instructor to ensure smooth delivery of course content.
Required profile
- Successful completion of MGCR‑293 or an equivalent economics course.
- Preference given to PhD candidates in Management or Economics.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel.

What we offer
- Hourly compensation of $37.34 CAD.
- 180 total work hours over the term (August 30 – December 12, 2026).
