Tenure‑Track Assistant Professor in Information Systems or Organizational Behaviour

About the role

McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management is inviting applications for tenure‑track Assistant Professor positions, starting August 1 2027, in either the Information Systems area or the Organizational Behaviour area. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. (or be near completion) in the relevant discipline and demonstrate the potential to develop a high‑impact research programme.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an internationally competitive research agenda, aiming for publication in top‑tier journals.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses and supervise doctoral students.
• Contribute to the administration of the academic area and the faculty.

Required profile

• Evidence of effective teaching and a strong research record or clear promise of high‑quality publications.
• Research interests aligned with faculty priority areas such as analytics, AI, innovation, sustainability, or equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English; knowledge of French is desirable.
