TCG Sales & Office Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a passionate, high‑energy Retail Sales Specialist / Office Assistant to support our hobby hub. The role blends customer‑facing sales duties with office tasks such as entry‑level bookkeeping, inventory management, and assisting our growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, provide expert product recommendations and promote our TCG, RC, and die‑cast lines.
• Operate the POS system, handle cash and card transactions, and process trade‑ins.
• Restock shelves, organize displays, and maintain a clean, visually appealing sales floor.
• Stay current on new TCG releases and hobby inventory to answer customer questions.
• Perform entry‑level bookkeeping data entry under guidance of our CPA.
• Assist with execution of the company’s growth plan and new product roll‑outs.

Required profile

• Strong hobby knowledge in at least two core categories (e.g., Pokémon, MTG, board games, RC vehicles).
• Minimum 1 year of retail or customer‑service experience.
• Friendly communication style able to engage both experts and newcomers.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends during tournaments and game nights.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lb.
• Basic bookkeeping training or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern POS systems.
• Experience using inventory management software.
• Entry‑level bookkeeping and data‑entry skills.
