Counter Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, customer‑focused Counter Sales Representative to join our thriving automotive parts team in Moncton, NB. The role involves greeting customers, selling a diversified line of aftermarket parts, and supporting both in‑store and eCommerce channels.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers in person or by phone with a positive, engaging attitude.
• Sell and support a diversified line of products via phone, fax, email and over‑the‑counter, promoting private brands and eCommerce channels.
• Handle transactions including sales, returns and defectives, and reconcile the drawer at shift end.
• Operate the PartsWatch POS system, search parts and customer accounts, invoice and pull orders.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory management, signage and plan‑ograms to enhance the customer experience.
• Follow cash, credit, check, refund and return policies and contribute to branch sales profitability.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in the automotive aftermarket (jobber) parts industry.
• Customer‑focused, self‑starter with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the PartsWatch point‑of‑sale system.
• Experience using eCommerce platforms for parts sales.
