About the role
KPMG’s Global Mobility Services practice is seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to deliver Canadian and U.S. personal tax compliance for clients with international income. You will work closely with tax managers and partners, leveraging technology to provide high‑quality service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare personal Canadian and U.S. tax returns for individuals with cross‑border income.
- Maintain client files to ensure accurate and timely completion of returns and schedules.
- Follow up on notices of assessment and communicate outcomes to clients.
- Provide support to team members on related tax tasks.
- Conduct tax research and stay current on regulatory changes.
- Utilize AI tools to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or equivalent.
- 1‑2 years of experience preparing Canadian and/or U.S. personal tax returns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in French and English.
