Talent Advisor II (Contractor)

About the role

GM Financial is seeking a Talent Advisor II on a contractor basis to partner with recruiting leadership, HR partners, and hiring managers. You will drive full‑life‑cycle recruiting, develop sourcing strategies, and build a robust talent pipeline for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for internal and external candidates across assigned functional areas.
• Design and execute comprehensive sourcing plans using multiple channels to attract top talent.
• Proactively identify, engage, and network with both active and passive candidates.
• Evaluate, interview, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers, ensuring timely decision‑making.
• Negotiate and extend employment offers, articulating the value proposition of GM Financial.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and provide regular status updates throughout the hiring process.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of HR policies, pre‑employment procedures, and governmental employment regulations.
• Strong understanding of hiring manager expectations and recruitment best practices.
• Experience with behavioral‑based interviewing and other selection methods.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of technology solutions applied to recruitment (e.g., ATS, sourcing tools).
