People Operations Data & Reporting Manager

About the role

Cohere is looking for a People Operations Manager to own its people data and the reporting built on top of it. You will be responsible for headcount, attrition and cost reporting while also handling benefits administration and employee records end‑to‑end. This hands‑on role combines data governance, metric definition and operational execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own headcount, attrition and people cost reporting end‑to‑end.
• Build executive and board‑level reporting that leadership relies on.
• Define metric definitions and clean underlying data taxonomies.
• Reconcile People and Finance headcount and maintain data integrity.
• Own US and global benefits administration, renewal cycles and open enrolment.
• Automate recurring reporting and enable self‑service access for managers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of people analytics and reporting experience in fast‑growing environments.
• Proven track record delivering people‑operations solutions across the talent journey.
• Experience with HRIS implementation or migration, preferably Rippling.
• Demonstrated ability to build reports from scratch and resolve data‑quality issues.
• Comfort working across multiple countries, including EOR or contractor populations.
