Recruitment Assistant – Physician Recruitment

About the role

HEABC has a vacancy for a Recruitment Assistant in our Health Match BC, Physician Recruitment team. The Recruitment Assistant is often the first point of contact for many of our candidates and external partners and is heavily relied upon to provide excellent customer service in the form of email and telephone communications.

Key responsibilities

• Support the day‑to‑day work of a Recruitment Consultant.
• Maintain the Health Match BC database and filing systems.
• Assist in collecting and organizing licensing and immigration paperwork.
• Track candidates’ progress throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Respond to general inquiries from stakeholders and interested applicants.

Required profile

• Successful completion of grade twelve supplemented by human resources or business training and three years of recent related experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal patiently and professionally with a diverse range of people.
• Ability to prioritize work, exercise discretion with confidential documents, and follow established processes.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Typing speed of 50 words per minute.

What we offer

• Salary range: $49,445 to $64,896 per year.
