Talent Acquisition Coordinator – Entry-Level HR Role

About the role
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an entry‑level position within the HR team, responsible for managing full‑cycle recruitment for a national workforce while gaining exposure to broader HR functions such as employee relations, HRIS administration, and project support.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for assigned roles, including intake meetings, job posting creation, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference checks and offer preparation.
- Use Teamtailor ATS to track candidate pipelines, requisitions and recruitment metrics.
- Build and maintain talent pools for recurring and high‑volume positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, set timelines and ensure inclusive, compliant hiring practices.
- Conduct initial phone screens, schedule panel interviews and support candidate communication.
- Prepare onboarding packages, collect employment documents, conduct orientation and coordinate first‑day setup.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and contribute to monthly reporting on time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness and funnel metrics.
- Support employer branding initiatives and lead participation in career fairs.
- Maintain employee records in NetSuite HRIS, track probation milestones and training completion.
- Respond to general employee and external inquiries, escalating complex matters as needed.
- Assist with HR projects, events and reporting, and shadow broader HR functions for development.
Required profile
- Completed post‑secondary program in Human Resources, Business or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional interaction with candidates, employees and managers.
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Teamtailor (ATS).
- Experience using NetSuite HRIS.
- Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel and Outlook.
