About the role
We are seeking a strategic Talent Acquisition Business Partner to lead full‑cycle recruitment for a prominent engineering firm handling major capital projects. Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you will partner with hiring managers to attract top talent and build robust candidate pipelines in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening to offers and onboarding.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans using diverse channels to build talent pools.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, risk assessments, and advanced assessment techniques.
- Maintain a strong professional online presence to enhance employer branding and prospect talent.
- Collaborate on workforce planning, forecasting recruitment needs and refining job descriptions.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
- Leverage recruitment metrics and ATS data to drive continuous improvement.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive hiring culture.
Required profile
- 5+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years independently managing full‑cycle hiring.
- Background recruiting in construction, infrastructure, civil engineering, or related sectors is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to fill hard‑to‑fill roles and manage high‑volume sourcing.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with a collaborative, self‑starter mindset.
- Post‑secondary education in Human Resources or a business‑related field is an asset.
