Talent Acquisition Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Talent Acquisition Business Partner to lead full‑cycle recruitment for a prominent engineering firm handling major capital projects. Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you will partner with hiring managers to attract top talent and build robust candidate pipelines in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening to offers and onboarding.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans using diverse channels to build talent pools.
• Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, risk assessments, and advanced assessment techniques.
• Maintain a strong professional online presence to enhance employer branding and prospect talent.
• Collaborate on workforce planning, forecasting recruitment needs and refining job descriptions.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
• Leverage recruitment metrics and ATS data to drive continuous improvement.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive hiring culture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years independently managing full‑cycle hiring.
• Background recruiting in construction, infrastructure, civil engineering, or related sectors is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to fill hard‑to‑fill roles and manage high‑volume sourcing.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with a collaborative, self‑starter mindset.
• Post‑secondary education in Human Resources or a business‑related field is an asset.
