About the role
We are seeking a Human Resources Officer to manage staffing, employee assistance, and recruitment processes. The role involves supporting managers and employees with HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment standards. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with teams across the organization to attract and retain talent.
Key responsibilities
- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop recruitment plans.
- Provide employee assistance and counselling services.
- Prepare and post job notices and advertisements.
- Collect, screen, and interview applicants, and prepare job offers.
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies, procedures, and entitlements.
- Coordinate staff training and development initiatives.
- Determine eligibility for employee entitlements and manage related documentation.
Required profile
- Accurate and reliable with strong judgment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Client‑focused and adaptable with the ability to multitask.
- Team player who is organized and flexible.
- At least 3 – 5 years of experience in human resources.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
