Supply Chain Specialist – ERP Procurement Officer

About the role
As a Supply Chain Specialist you will act as the ERP System Procurement Officer, ensuring that purchasing activities are efficient, cost‑effective and aligned with production needs. Your analytical rigor will guarantee the timely supply of raw materials and subcontracted parts while maintaining accurate ERP data.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, modify and release purchase orders according to the master production plan.
- Analyze stock requirements, monitor inventories and place necessary orders.
- Receive, evaluate and process purchase requisitions.
- Maintain ERP master data – prices, lead times, minimum lot sizes and qualified suppliers.
- Track deliveries, follow up with suppliers and update confirmations in the system.
- Resolve delivery errors, shortages or missing parts and communicate with planning to avoid production impact.
- Manage receiving slips and invoices, correcting any discrepancies.
- Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and monitor supplier performance.
- Collaborate with the quality team and suppliers to address procurement‑related non‑conformities.
- Continuously improve department methods and processes.
Required profile
- DEC or BAC in administration or equivalent combination of experience/training.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Proficiency with computer tools and ERP systems.
- Rigorous, detail‑oriented, autonomous and able to work under pressure.
- Strong negotiation, analytical and synthesis abilities, with a team‑spirit.
