Box Maker Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

Cascades Canada ULC is seeking a Box Maker Operator to join its Drummondville facility. You will operate and supervise box‑making machinery in a pulp‑and‑paper environment, ensuring production runs safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, start up and shut down box‑making machines and perform preventive maintenance.
• Monitor equipment during operation, report any malfunctions and carry out minor repairs.
• Read and interpret specifications, blueprints and verbal instructions to meet product quality standards.
• Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and departmental policies.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably pulp and paper.
• Ability to work in both English and French.
• Manual dexterity and ability to follow safety regulations.
