About the role
The County of Lambton is seeking high‑school students to support a tobacco‑use prevention initiative under the Ontario Tobacco Strategy. This temporary, part‑time position involves conducting compliance checks and assisting enforcement officers.
Key responsibilities
- Perform compliance and enforcement checks in line with Ministry of Health and Long‑Term Care protocols.
- Prepare detailed notes after each check.
- Serve as a witness in court when required.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in high school, aged 15‑18.
- Strong communication and report‑writing abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Capable of working independently.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly wage of $16.60‑$17.60.
- Temporary, part‑time schedule (3 positions available).
