Store Associate

About the role

Giant Tiger is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join its store team in Sorel‑Tracy. As a Store Associate you will help customers find the products they need, ensure a smooth checkout experience and keep the store organized.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level customer service and accurately process transactions at cash registers, mainline and self‑checkout stations.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area and maintain planograms, labels and signage.
• Perform markdowns, SKU changes, cycle counts and loss‑prevention best practices.
• Follow health, safety, tobacco and lottery compliance policies.
• Keep the checkout work area clean, organized and safe.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
