About the role
We are looking for a Specialist Chef to lead our kitchen team at Pizzeria Geppetto, focusing on authentic Italian cuisine. The role involves overseeing food preparation, managing supplies, and ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our guests.
Key responsibilities
- Estimate quantities and costs of supplies and food items.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff.
- Supervise specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a culinary role.
- Experience working in Italian cuisine.
Required skills
- Cost estimation for food supplies.
- Menu planning.
- Proficiency in Italian cuisine preparation.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
