Solution Architect – Financial Services (Hybrid)

About the role

Zafin is an AI platform helping regulated financial institutions modernize product, pricing, billing and workflow processes. As a Solution Architect you will translate complex banking and operational requirements into scalable Zafin solution designs for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end solution architecture for client implementations, translating business and technical requirements into designs, integration and data flows, and implementation plans.
• Lead client discovery workshops, fit‑gap analysis, architecture reviews and document assumptions, dependencies and risks.
• Define integration and data architecture across APIs, batch/file interfaces, event‑driven streams, data mappings, validation and operational monitoring.
• Specify non‑functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, auditability and resilience.
• Provide technical direction throughout delivery, including design reviews, testing, deployment planning and production hand‑over.
• Act as senior technical advisor, communicating architecture options, trade‑offs and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting or enterprise SaaS delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep knowledge of banking products, pricing, billing, offers, workflow and operational processes.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear architecture designs and implementation packages.
• Strong client‑facing communication, stakeholder management and risk mitigation skills.

Required skills

• Java, Spring Boot, Python, microservices, event‑driven architecture.
• REST APIs, API design, PostgreSQL, SQL.
• Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Integration technologies: APIs, batch/file interfaces, Kafka, Redpanda, RabbitMQ.
• Security concepts: authentication, authorization, encryption, OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, caching, OAuth, Argo CD, Apache NiFi, Schema Registry, Temporal, Apache Flink.
