About the role
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our remote team on a contract basis. The role involves developing and enhancing enterprise software across a wide range of programming languages. You will work independently, delivering high‑quality code to meet project deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and complete coding tasks in various enterprise languages.
- Evaluate and improve systems and build toolchains using C and Rust.
- Enhance enterprise JVM ecosystems with C#, Kotlin, Scala, and Swift.
- Optimize production web and operations scripting with Ruby, PHP, and Perl.
- Advance scientific and quantitative computing using R.
- Work asynchronously and independently to meet project timelines.
Required profile
- Strong professional experience in at least one of the listed domains.
- Deep understanding of language internals, tooling, and real‑world production constraints.
- Ability to reason about edge cases, performance, and system‑design trade‑offs.
- Detail‑oriented with strong written feedback skills.
