About the role
The Northern Health Authority is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join its clinic team in Fort St. James. The role focuses on community development, health, and family mediation, supporting clients with socio‑economic challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of social programs and counselling outcomes.
- Provide counselling and therapy to help clients resolve personal and social issues.
- Perform administrative tasks related to client care.
- Collaborate as a member of an interdisciplinary team serving a defined client group.
- Support family‑focused interventions and community‑development initiatives.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
- 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
- Membership in a provincial association of social workers.
- Willingness to relocate; relocation costs covered.
