Skating Instructor

About the role

The City of Delta is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its recreation team as Skating Instructors. You will deliver engaging ice‑skating lessons to children across several community facilities, fostering skill development and a love for the sport.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and teach ice‑skating lessons for various age groups.
• Conduct skating evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Supply and maintain skating equipment for participants.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to participants and their families.
• Collaborate with recreation staff and work independently as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in ice‑skating instruction or coaching.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage diverse age groups.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a culturally diverse team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Valid First Aid and CPR‑C certification.
