Site Superintendent – Construction Management

About the role

The Site Superintendent will lead the day‑to‑day execution of construction projects, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. This position reports to the site manager and collaborates closely with project managers, owners, consultants, and trade partners.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, direct and control all on‑site construction activities.
• Maintain the company brand with clients, employees, trade partners and suppliers.
• Champion a safety‑first culture and enforce safety protocols.
• Manage project schedules, assess workforce needs and take corrective action to meet milestones.
• Collaborate with site manager, project manager, owners, consultants, inspectors and regulatory agencies.
• Implement the Lean Last Planner System to drive efficient project delivery.
• Oversee quality and production, ensuring crews follow specifications and drawings.
• Travel within Manitoba as required.

Required profile

• Gold Seal (GSC), Journeyperson (GSE), CET certification or an engineering education.
• Experience on large, complex projects valued over $20 million.
• Five or more years leading multi‑trade construction teams, preferably in ICI, mid/high‑rise multifamily or health‑care sectors.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
