Civil Project Engineer – Airport Infrastructure (French)

About the role

Join WSP’s Aviation team as a Civil Project Engineer to deliver critical airport infrastructure across Canada. You will work on projects ranging from runways and taxiways to lighting and de‑icing facilities, contributing from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate conceptual, functional and detailed design phases for airport infrastructure projects.
• Develop and review technical specifications, quantity take‑offs and cost estimates.
• Prepare engineering drawings, design reports and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams, sub‑consultants and project managers to ensure seamless delivery.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, supporting communication and issue resolution.
• Support quality assurance and quality control processes across design deliverables.
• Perform field reviews and attend project sites to support design and construction activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligibility for registration in Ontario (asset).
• 5+ years of engineering experience in aviation or related transportation infrastructure.
• Familiarity with TP312 5th Edition, ICAO or FAA standards (asset).

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• 3D modelling of underground utilities in Civil 3D.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with project scheduling or modelling tools.
• Knowledge of TP312 5th Edition, ICAO and FAA standards.
