Service to Sales Team Member – Automotive Retail

About the role

Join OpenRoad, one of Canada’s fastest‑growing automotive retail groups, as a Service to Sales Team Member at the Burnaby Volkswagen dealership. You will bridge the service and sales departments, helping service clients explore ownership options and potential upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Appraise vehicles and communicate ownership options to 90% of service clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service, identify client needs, and demonstrate the value of upgrades.
• Prepare purchase paperwork based on approved appraisals and coordinate hand‑offs to the sales team.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, attend training, and use closing techniques effectively.
• Set monthly productivity goals, attend department meetings, and follow safety policies.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels and manage time priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and internet applications.
• Current VSA MDC License or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid British Columbia driver’s licence with a clean record.
