Server - Braven

About the role

Braven, a new breed of steakhouse led by Chef Anthony Walsh, is looking for a server in Edmonton. You will be a key team player working closely with the restaurant team and guests, learning the company's systems and procedures alongside the front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome each guest warmly and offer help whenever needed
• Share your menu knowledge to make the best recommendations
• Use seat-specific ordering so food is not auctioned when delivered to the table
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system so the kitchen team knows what to expect
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and concerns
• Keep your section clean and follow all food safety standards
• Take care of special requests, celebrations and guest allergies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• At least 2 years of serving experience in a similar environment
• ProServe certification is required
• High attention to detail and ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills, sales ability and ability to multi-task
• Strong oral and written communication and high product knowledge
• Ability to lift and carry furniture
