Senior Technical Architect – Healthcare

About the role

B+H Architects is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join its Healthcare team in Toronto. You will lead the technical and construction administration aspects of healthcare projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with senior leaders to deliver award‑winning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead team planning and develop solutions to technical and design detail challenges.
• Supervise preparation of technical drawings and oversee construction administration.
• Develop detailed designs that align with design intent and construction documents.
• Ensure documentation meets QA/QC and B+H Best Practice standards.
• Mentor junior staff, delegate tasks, and foster collaborative relationships with the Project Leadership Team.
• Assist with and manage contract administration services.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an architect with a strong technical background.
• Experience on healthcare projects is a plus.
• Registered Architect with OAA is advantageous.
• Familiarity with P3 project procurement models is beneficial.
