Senior Social & Content Strategist

About the role

Boom InterTribal is seeking a Senior Social & Content Strategist to shape and execute organic social strategies for a diverse client portfolio. The role blends high‑level strategic planning with hands‑on content creation, ensuring culturally grounded storytelling across platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own organic social strategies for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging channels.
• Define content pillars, audience approaches and platform‑specific roles aligned with campaign objectives.
• Translate strategic direction into detailed content calendars and publishing plans.
• Lead end‑to‑end content development, writing social‑first copy and collaborating with creative teams on static, motion and short‑form video assets.
• Ensure all content is culturally respectful, accessible and platform‑native.
• Support community‑management best practices and guide brands on thoughtful engagement within social spaces.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience in social media strategy and content creation.
• Demonstrated ability to balance creative excellence with cultural integrity.
• Strong collaborative mindset, working closely with creative, strategy, account and media teams.
• Comfortable leading initiatives while remaining hands‑on in execution.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.

What we offer

• Salary range $85,000–$95,000 CAD, commensurate with experience.
