About the role
Hays Canada is expanding its Toronto team and is looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead a full‑cycle, 360° sales desk. You will own the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from business development and client acquisition to candidate sourcing, interviewing, and placement.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage new and existing clients through proactive outreach and business‑development calls.
- Source, interview, and match high‑quality candidates to client requirements.
- Manage the recruitment process from brief to offer negotiation, ensuring a smooth experience for both candidates and clients.
- Deliver compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business and meet sales targets.
- Develop specialist market expertise by researching client industries and trends.
- Take accountability for meeting monetary goals that contribute to Hays’ growth and profitability.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Senior Recruitment Consultant or higher, with a strong track record in business development.
- Resilient, ambitious, and able to navigate the highs and lows of recruitment.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication abilities.
- Self‑motivated and results‑driven, with a focus on delivering profitable solutions.
