Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are currently seeking a full‑time, on‑site Project Manager at BUILD IT. The Project Manager will oversee the execution and management of construction projects, ensuring budgets are managed, safety standards are met, and project control activities are efficiently executed across our Greater Toronto Area operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee construction projects to meet scope, schedule, and client specifications.
• Monitor and manage project budgets with accurate cost reporting.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols.
• Inspect sites to ensure high‑quality standards and client expectations.
• Secure required permits and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of supervisory experience in project control, including scheduling, budgeting and invoicing.
• Post‑secondary education in Project Management, Construction Management or related field (preferred).
• Solid understanding of construction financials, cost management and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, stakeholders and teams.
