Senior Project Manager – Heavy Civil Infrastructure

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established civil contractor to find a Senior Project Manager to lead a high‑profile bridge and transportation infrastructure project in southeastern and interior British Columbia. You will own the project from its current phase through to successful completion, driving planning, execution, safety, and client relations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a major heavy civil infrastructure project, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk and overall performance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Coordinators, Surveyors and field teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee contract administration, change management and claims.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S, contract specifications and quality programs.

Required profile

• 8+ years managing heavy civil construction projects, preferably bridges or transportation infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering projects on budget and schedule.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of Ministry of Transportation and MMCD contracts is an asset.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is a plus.
