Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Transformation

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the Immunization Repository Consolidation initiative, a high‑profile digital health transformation project for the Ontario public sector. The role is based onsite at 222 Jarvis St and involves full‑lifecycle management of a complex, multi‑stakeholder program.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage large‑scale healthcare and digital health transformation projects from initiation through closeout.
- Develop and maintain core project artefacts such as the Project Charter, Integrated Project Management Plan, schedules, risk registers, issue logs and change requests.
- Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into detailed project plans, resource allocations and delivery strategies.
- Control scope, budget, schedule, quality, risks and dependencies while providing regular reporting to steering committees and senior executives.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement with clinicians, vendors, ministries and cross‑functional teams.
- Oversee change management, training, communications, testing and transition‑to‑operations activities.
- Manage project financials, budgeting and forecasting using Planview and other PM tools.
- Ensure compliance with OPS Unified I&IT methodology, public sector architecture standards, GO‑ITS and Digital Health requirements.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in federal, provincial or broader public‑sector healthcare organisations.
- Proven track record leading large, complex I&IT transformation projects with extensive stakeholder involvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work with clinicians and healthcare stakeholders to deliver technology solutions in clinical environments.
- Strong knowledge of public‑sector project governance, risk management and compliance frameworks.
