Senior Project Manager – Banking & Digital Transformation

About the role

Senior Project Manager at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) leading large‑scale, concurrent projects for banking and financial services clients, driving digital transformation and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals, optimized resource utilization, and timely delivery.
• Engage senior executives, clients and global teams to define scope, manage expectations and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies to plan, execute and monitor projects.
• Ensure adherence to budgets, timelines and quality standards.
• Mentor cross‑functional teams including IT, Finance and Operations.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage scope and resolve bottlenecks.
• Deliver status updates, KPIs and reporting insights to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project/program management with leadership of large, concurrent initiatives.
• Domain experience in banking, financial services or technology.
• Track record in digital transformation, regulatory compliance or operational excellence initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field (MBA preferred).
• PMP, Prince2 or equivalent certification required; Agile or Scrum Master certification a strong asset.
