Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer

About the role

HaiLa is developing ultra‑low‑power radio communication solutions for battery‑free IoT devices. We are looking for a Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our hybrid cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability for both hardware and software teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain on‑premise server and EDA infrastructure (RHEL, SLES, virtualization, NFS).
• Lead IaC‑first development across network, servers, IDP, and cloud (AWS, GCP) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Operate and optimize the Slurm compute cluster, including monitoring and capacity planning.
• Migrate Kubernetes and CI pipelines from GCP to AWS, and manage deployments via GitOps.
• Integrate and secure on‑premise and cloud networking (VLAN, FortiGate firewalls, site‑to‑site VPN, DNS, AWS SES).
• Manage endpoint fleet with Microsoft Intune, patch management, and DLP solutions.
• Maintain JIRA project hygiene and coordinate IT security policies and incident response.

• Proactive problem‑solver who writes clear runbooks and closes gaps before incidents occur.
