Senior Manager Project & Program Delivery

About the role

GFT is seeking a Senior Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of high‑complexity technology programs across risk, finance, compliance and other critical business areas. You will partner with senior leaders, drive project health, and ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full SDLC for large‑scale technology projects, following the Enterprise Project Management Framework.
• Maintain accurate project status, financials, risks, issues and key decisions through rigorous reporting.
• Collaborate with teams to evolve project management tools, templates and portfolio reporting routines.
• Engage business stakeholders to capture requirements, provide updates and resolve ambiguities.
• Organise and coordinate processes for all project teams within the program.
• Manage program delivery to ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Project or Program Manager on large, regulatory‑driven technology initiatives (e.g., FED, OSFI).
• Proven expertise in scheduling, risk‑based planning, scope change, budgeting, resource leveling and conflict resolution.
• Strong KPI creation, tracking, trend analysis and escalation capabilities.
• Excellent communication and data‑visualisation skills, with executive presence to brief senior leadership.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• High attention to detail and solid business acumen.
