Senior Manager, Business Management

About the role

TD is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a large, complex business management function that supports the bank’s overall strategy. The role involves medium‑to‑long‑term planning, integration with other business areas, and collaboration across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, communicate and implement a holistic strategy for the assigned business management function.
• Lead and coordinate work activities that span multiple functional areas.
• Partner with senior management and enterprise teams to anticipate trends, identify issues, and recommend actions.
• Provide strategic partnership to key enterprise partners and influence scope and priorities.
• Maintain an integrated view of activities, offering escalations, recommendations, and decision support to leadership.
• Forecast programs and initiatives, prioritize portfolios, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Ensure consistent communication of business strategies and executive direction.
• Uphold enterprise frameworks, regulatory requirements, and corporate control relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, high‑risk business management functions.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Excellent awareness of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business units and external partners.
