Senior Manager – Business Initiatives

About the role

Tangerine is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives that will launch its Small Business Banking proposition. The role sits at the intersection of product, platform, marketing, risk and operations, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, on strategy, and with measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of high‑priority initiatives across the business portfolio, including product launches, digital platform readiness and go‑to‑market activation.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Technology, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, Legal) to align priorities, manage dependencies and resolve blockers.
• Design and maintain reporting mechanisms for initiative progress, risks and outcomes; prepare board updates and executive briefings.
• Support strategic planning by contributing competitive analysis, opportunity sizing and alignment with Tangerine’s broader transformation.
• Build and sustain strong stakeholder relationships across business leadership and functional partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a fast‑paced, build‑phase environment.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with operational rigor.
• Ability to act as a player‑coach, influencing senior leaders and guiding teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
