Senior Learning & Development Advisor & Entry-Level Haul Truck Operators (FIFO)

About the role

Diavik Diamond Mine is seeking two distinct talent pools to support its award‑winning underground and surface operations. The first role is a Senior Advisor in Learning & Development, responsible for shaping training strategies across the mine. The second role offers entry‑level opportunities as Underground Haul Truck Operators, driving essential material movement on a FIFO schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Senior Advisor: design, deliver and evaluate learning programs that enhance safety and operational excellence.
• Senior Advisor: partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and create career development pathways.
• Haul Truck Operator: operate underground haul trucks safely and efficiently during two‑week on‑site rotations.
• Haul Truck Operator: perform routine equipment inspections, report maintenance needs, and adhere to strict safety protocols.

Required profile

• Senior Advisor: proven experience in learning and development, preferably within industrial or mining environments.
• Senior Advisor: strong analytical mindset and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Haul Truck Operator: high school diploma or equivalent and willingness to work in a FIFO setting.
• Haul Truck Operator: physical fitness and commitment to safety standards.

Required skills

• Senior Advisor: curriculum design, adult learning principles, performance measurement.
• Haul Truck Operator: basic vehicle operation knowledge and mechanical awareness.
