Senior HR Generalist

About the role

Langford Staffing is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to manage day‑to‑day HR operations and lead company‑wide onboarding and employee training. The role requires an outgoing, confident professional who can engage employees and managers across virtual sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver new‑hire orientation and foundational company training.
• Build training modules from policies, procedures, and standards, creating presentations, facilitator guides, quizzes, scenarios, checklists and assessments.
• Use AI tools to support training development, research, content organization and updates, reviewing all AI‑generated material for accuracy and confidentiality.
• Train employees on workplace expectations, policies, communication standards, systems and procedures, keeping sessions engaging and interactive.
• Document coaching, retraining, warnings, required improvements and follow‑up.
• Manage onboarding, employee changes, probation tracking and off‑boarding while maintaining confidential employee records.
• Administer vacation, sick leave, attendance and other approved leaves.
• Support managers with employee relations, performance concerns, coaching and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Labour Relations or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience; 6–8+ years strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years delivering onboarding, policy or corrective training and building structured training modules.
• Strong live facilitation, presentation and group‑training skills with confident, outgoing communication style.
• Ability to work independently, recognize escalation needs and maintain high discretion and documentation standards.

Required skills

• Practical experience using AI tools for training content creation and improvement.
• Experience creating presentations, facilitator guides, assessments, quizzes, scenarios and checklists.
• Familiarity with HRIS or learning‑management systems.
