Senior Field Services Analyst

About the role

The Senior Field Services Analyst leads complex, high‑risk field work for Wenco’s hardware, network and software systems at mining sites across North America. Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the role combines advanced hands‑on capability with the judgement to set and maintain standards across installations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning and verification of new deployments, including non‑standard installs.
• Establish and verify installation baselines, produce as‑built records, perform QA checks and ensure clean operation before handover.
• Perform advanced root‑cause analysis on hardware, network and software faults and develop repeatable troubleshooting methods.
• Provide field presence during new deployments, feed findings back to product and engineering teams, and create procedures, as‑built standards, troubleshooting guides and training material.
• Mentor Field Services Analysts, support onboarding of new team members and represent Wenco on site as the single point of contact.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in hardware installation, field services or technical software support within mining or industrial technology.
• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or equivalent practical experience.
• Valid driver’s licence, passport and ability to travel to remote and northern sites (up to 80% travel).
• Mining experience preferred; French language capability a plus for French‑speaking client sites.

Required skills

• Installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of rugged computers, radios, GPS antennas and cabling.
• Networking, radio and LTE connectivity, GNSS (including RTK) knowledge.
• Windows and Windows Server environments, virtual machines, SQL database operations.
• Advanced technical judgement to differentiate product faults from installation or network issues.

What we offer

• Base salary of $110,000 – $130,000 CAD, commensurate with experience.
