Senior Engineer – Digital Distribution & Engagement

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead digital distribution and engagement initiatives within its North America Client Transactions & Data team. The role focuses on building and maintaining large‑scale batch and real‑time data pipelines that support advanced analytics and data integration across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage application and data integration platforms using AWS services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, Glue and SNS.
• Design, develop and operate robust, cloud‑native data pipelines following modern data‑engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with business owners, product owners and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data availability and reliability for reporting and analytics within defined SLAs.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, data models and design artifacts.
• Write production‑grade code and automation to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Identify and implement innovative improvements to pipeline efficiency and reliability.
• Communicate technical requirements for data ingestion, validation, scheduling and delivery.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience with AWS, including S3, RDS, Lambda, Glue and SNS.
• 3–5 years designing, building and maintaining data pipelines with Apache Airflow.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT patterns and proven SQL performance‑tuning skills.
• 3–5 years of experience working with Snowflake.
• Solid programming abilities and strong analytical, design and debugging skills.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
